I'm looking for an internet gaming cafe in London, does anyone know of one that has high spec computers?
How do you tell if it is your internet connection or your memory that is slowing down internet gaming?
I love playing games online but my computer lags a lot. How do I tell if it is my internet connection that is the problem, or my computer's memory? I have .99 Gigabytes of RAM for memory and 24Mbps with " very good" signal strength for my internet connection.The types of games I'm talking about are Facebook games and games from addicting games.com

Why do so many teens use cheats when playing Internet games?
What is the point of bothering to play a game if you intend using cheat codes to either get a high score or finish the game quickly?If the idea of getting a high score this way is to show off to your friends, surely they will realize you have cheated.It's rather like a marathon runner taking a short cut across country to make it apear he is one of the leaders. In the adult world, nobody respects a cheat.
Internet gaming on a wireless network?
I never had issues with this before. We switched to Comcast Cable after Verizon screwed us over with their DSL modems they kept on sending us. I have a 15Mbps plan from Comcast thinking that it would allow all the computers to be able to run a lot smoother since there is a lot more speed available but every time a LAN game is played, the game lags soooo bad I check the ping and it is really high for everyone. This happens with every game I try, Age of Empires, Call of Duty, the 007 games. Doesn't matter. Every game I try to play over a wireless network, it lags really bad out of random. For some time it would run ok, not perfect but ok, and then it would just freeze, and then the game would start dropping players. Connections on each computer are perfect. Signal strength couldn't ask for better. Transfer rates are up there as well. This is strange. I don't understand. I use a D Link DGL 4500 Gamefuel router made specially for online gaming. Is there any router out there that can support a solid network for gaming or is there any setup I can do to fix this issue?What does " Comcast stinks" supposed to mean?You would've recommended me to stay with verizon?I just ran a speed test and it says that I have 5Mbps download rate and 2Mbps upload rate. Kind of sucks The upload rate is close to what Comcast claimed in the plan but the Download rate is nowhere near.Ok i tried the link tbshmkr gave me and I got 13.5 Mbps download and 6 Mbps upload. I don't get it.Those speeds are way better than I ever had with verizon.
Firefox crashes when trying to play internet games?
I keep trying to play games on shockwave.com and the game will load and i can get to certain points in the game but it will crash and firefox will close completely. Internet explorer does the same thing. Any ideas to fix the problem?
Internet gaming speed related to router?
Hi, I'm currently running my internet with Time Warner cable as my ISP. My question is, if the router that I'm using affects my speed when I'm gaming. My pretty decent computer, as well as my father's laptop and my mother's laptop are all connected to a Linksys router. WRT54G It's a pretty old one my dad grabbed at best buy for less than 30 bucks. Whenever I'm gaming, and this occurs to any game, it tends to slow, or lag. This wasn't happening, but recently I'm getting that continuous lag constantly. Could it by any chance be my old or cheap router? If I purchase a new and recent one, would it make a difference?
