Why does my internet speed slow down at exactly the same time every day*?
I couldn't tell you what time in the evening the speed goes back up to acceptable levels I know its after 8pm though but at 9am every morning the speed slows to such speeds that it would take up to 10 minutes to load a 1 minute youtube video.I can literally be watching a 5 minute youtube video at 8 59am that's halfway loaded in less than 30 seconds, but as the clock chimes 9am, the rest of same video could take another 20 minutes to load the rest of the way.Any ideas as to what's going on here?There's no one else on the network, I've made everyone in the house turn off everything that could connect to the internet to run the tests but its the same result if they are connected or not. It isn't exactly at 9am this happens, its a window of about 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after 9am and it is every day, weekends included.

ISP TALK TALKdownload speed 10mbupload speed 0.8mb ok i got hem stats by doing a conection test at uswitch.com, i need a router that has speed more than anything, as i would be using it to stream video and online gaming. my router at the moment has great differculty streaming video and isnt the best at online gaming as it can be laggy i use an xbox and ps3 and i mean the type of lagg as some guy will see me before i see him cause his conection is far better is it down to my ISPbeing rubbish or will buying a better router help. p.s my router is a small plastic box with no antennas on it might be wrong but looks very cheap, it was supplied by my ISP
Trying to connect to internet without PPPoE information?
Okay so I have a D Link router that is wired and wireless, but that doesn't work anymore. I've got a backup of the D Link settings on my computer. I'd like to connect to the internet with a TP Link router, but it doesn't give internet access without the PPPoE username and password, which I cannot get. Is it possible to connect to the internet wired or wireless without this? Can I not copy the information from D Link to TP Link or somehow get past the PPPoE information?

Firefox won't connect to the internet, but Internet Explorer will?
I've searched everything that might have solved my problem already, but everything other websites tell me to do doesn't work. They all tell me to do the same thing. I've gone through my Firefox and IE settings, they're both the same. IE works perfectly fine, I just love Firefox but no matter what I do it won't connect. How would you change your internet explorer to version 8 without having any threats?
My internet explorer is currently version 9 and I hate it. Version 8 is better and I swear it has more functions and I want to change it to version 8. If you know how it would help me alot.Thanks
Wireless internet help with building a new computer?
I am building a computer and about to start purchasing all of the components but before i do i have a question about Wi Fi. Do i need to purchase a special card or something to get wireless or is it part of the motherboard already?? If its part of motherboard what do i look for to check and see if it is??

Can someone explain HTTP and HTTPS to me please? Im unsure what it actually is or does. All I know is HTTPS is secure and HTTP isn't but how is the S one secure, and how do you use it? How is it implemented into websites? Is it coding in websites that makes them secure or something? What sort of websites use HTTPS? Thanks
What's wrong with my Internet?
I'm a gamer. I used to play world of Warcraft a lot. Recently my dsl gives out on the loading screen. I did hear that att and blizzard are having a pissing contest so to speak. Anyone else having this problem that can help?
