What is a good and cheap company to go through for basic cable and internet?
Yeah ok i have cox digital cable and internet and it says that my status is connected?
and everything is plugged in but the internet isnt working and neither is the digital cable and the Router says everything except Link and telephone 2 is connected.. wats wrong

I read through the forums and found something called E fax. It gives you a free fax number and i guess you recieve the fax through your email. That really doesnt help me send faxes anywho.. I can always i guess scan and send. But to the point. Anyway to use my internet as a fax line? or whatever?

limited to ordering from Time Warner, I have called and all they the non Time Warner Services say that, that is what appears on their system, what is going on? does each company get to cherry pick what apartments they want?I really want to get Verizon DSl which is only 17.99 a month but I cant and my only option is paying Time Warner $36.99 I dont get it???

Does hot weather affect cable and internet connection?
So it just started to get warm in my area and my internet seems to go really slow or go out completely at times, I noticed that this happened last year too, but when it's winter or cool everything is fine. Also with some of the cable channels, it will display a message saying something like " One Moment Please, This Channel Should Be Available Shortly." About after 6pm, when it starts to cool down, everything works perfectly, I have Comcast by the way...Can this be fixed? Or will I have to live like this till fall or winter? lol
Cable and internet providers?
Does anyone know of any good cheap bundles of only cable and internet..?I currently use comcast, but I have had A LOT of trouble with their service and I wanted to try a new company. I am moving to a new apartment and the complex does NOT allow dishes... a few troubles I have had with comcast is the tv flickering every day.. for a while my on demand did not work.. my high speed internet only works about 4 7 days... they replaced the box and still keep saying the box is faulty.. and I am renting the box from them.. they cleared out wires ect ect ect and it seems to never work when I actually need the internet.. when changing channles I will get sort of a checkered flickering lull... anddd the list goes on.We have tried it all. Also, whenever I call them they put me on hold for like 10 actual MIN which is a long time to wait on the phone and they usually have to put me on hold multipul times. sometimes i feel like when they see my account there is a note on it that says SCREW WITH THIS PERSON AND MAKE HER WAIT ON THE PHONE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE SO SHE JUST HANGS UP ANYWAYS any suggestions?THanksP.S. a few times I called they asked me if there had been a storm or anything where I lived and said no there hasn't its been nice out and each time they asked me if i was sure.. OF COURSE IM SURE THERE HASNT BEEN ANY STORMS. I live here for crying out loud. also a few times THEY HUNG UP ON ME. even though they called back maybe a min later, it still made me mad each time they " accidentally" hung up.
