Why am I over my Rogers internet allowance? Can someone please tell me.?
Our household internet usage allowance from Rogers Canada is 60GB per month and somehow we went over. We have 2 PCs and an XBox 360. I do download things like torrents a lot, which also means that I upload as well seeding . I constantly keep several internet windows open and sometimes watch things online, usually things like Youtube or whatever. So I'm sure that a lot of the usage goes to me.My brother plays on his XBox 360 all the time. He plays those multiplayer games, mainly Call of Duty I think, that allow you to connect and play with against your friends and people all over the world. What I would like to know is if him playing these games is part of the problem? Does his XBox affect the internet allowance and if so how much? A little side question if I call Rogers and ask them what is causing the overages will they be able to tell me what it is? Will they be able to see exactly what we've been looking at or downloading, like each individual page or file or would it be less specific?Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
My router won't connect to the internet?
I have a linksys router and it used to work perfectly, but now when i plug it in and hook my computer up to it with an ethernet cord, it won't connect to the internet. I'm thinking maybe its not compatible with the modem that I have because I had the same problem with this type of modem before. Note that its not working when I plug it in directly nor a wireless signal. Any way to fix this? The modem is from comcast and its black with a gray top.
How do I connect Slackware 13 to the internet in a VM?
I'm running Windows Vista 32 bit with VMware Workstation. I recently installed Slackware 13.0 but I can't get it to connect to the internet. I tried netconfig and went through that whole process but it didn't work.
Why is my brand new fast 1 day old computer so slow on the internet?
3g proc. 8G ram, 1 day old, slow as hell on internet. Plug in my labtop 1.7 proces. 500mb ram, 3 times as fast. brands? desktop Acer, labtop Sony Vaio. I click on a link, any link, and sit and wait for 10 seconds. It brand new and only downloaded office on it. Everything else besides internet works fast. Why would it be so slow?i have cable connection supposedly 7g per second connection.my bad 7 mb s.

Why is only my Firefox working,not Internet Explorer,or other browsers?
When I try using ROBLOX, a gaming site that you download and start up from the start up menu,an internet explorer browser using program it doesn't work. Same with Internet Explorer itself. Sometimes it will,sometimes it won't.ROBLOX doesn't at all,Internet Explorer does sometimes. Firefox works all time. Help?
I think I have gotten rid of "Vista Internet Security 2010"?
Thank you Marvin & Jimmy A, they 2 guys who gave me the Bleepingcomputer link.Ok well, my Malewarebytes does not pick up the virus and all of the Registry links,when I run a scan. It says no threats have been found, so I'm guessing the virus did not install on my computer? The only thing I found was the " Av.exe" file which I had to go into Winrar just to view it because it was hidden. I deleted it, then re started by computer. After that my computer would not start any programs so I installed the FixExe.reg, ran it, then re started my computer again. Now everything works.So is it gone?
Vista Internet Security. How malicious is it?
Hey hey Ok, so I was watching a movie from a DVD and suddenly Vista Internet Security 2010 just pops up. Now having distroyed three computers I'm experienced enough to know, at the very least, that this wasn't a real anti virus protection program. I just want to know how to get rid of it before it distroys another computer I went into task manager and ended it's program and suddenly my security centre tells me that everything's ok again and my spybot and trendmicro tells me that there's nothing harmful to my computer. But when Vista internet security was running my security centre keeps telling me that my system's at risk. It's all back to normal now but I'm really scared that it's still lurking around in my system. How at risk am i?
Internet problems with my new laptop, Toshiba?
I just bought this laptop yesterday for college, and I was setting everything up on it yesterday, then I logged on today and the wireless connection button doesn't even open now it just has the loading sign over it, and it wont even let me open up a internet browser when I click it nothing happens, i can click anything else and it pops up right away, I tried going to internet options, but it wont even open those up like connect to a network, connect to the internet, etc none of that will open either. It was fine yesterday worked like a brand new car, but today nothing involving internet works. What can I do to fix this, I tried system restore but it wont restore it just gets a error message, any suggestions? do not say take it back and get another, I would like to fix this one if possible because I have already set everything up and have it ready for college
Help connecting Linksys wireless router with TWC Road Runner HS Internet pls?
I have a Linksys router and TWC Road Runner. I want to connect them so that my Ipod Touch can use the Wireless internet. How exactly can I do this? The instructions I have aren't so clear regarding digital cable connections.
My browser is IE8. Why can't I access Internet Options? It just flickers when I click on it.?
Is there another way to get to internet options? I am trying to fix a javascript void error.
