Processor 7.1Memory ram 5.9Graphics 4.9Gaming graphics 5.8Primary hard disk 5.9The graphics card is Graphics media accelerator HD which lets me down, 4gig Ram.reevoo.com p hp pavilion p6 2000ukmHere is my computer. Would it play on the lowest of graphics?
Does it matter what college you get a computer programming degree from?
I am a 22 year old guy from Staten Island, NYC. I will be attending CUNY in Manhattan borough of manhattan , mainly because I am out of work and this has been my passion for sometime. Any who, if I went to get an undergraduate from this college and then transferred to say Hunter or something to get my bachelors in computer programming. Would that be a worthwhile degree? Or for something like computer programming does it really matter where you get a degree from?Thanks
Wireless internet help with building a new computer?
I am building a computer and about to start purchasing all of the components but before i do i have a question about Wi Fi. Do i need to purchase a special card or something to get wireless or is it part of the motherboard already?? If its part of motherboard what do i look for to check and see if it is??
A question about computers?
I have or should I say had an Acer aspire 5742g since may last year. So the day after Christmas I got so pissed that I smashed my laptop with my fist in the u i j k section of my keyboard. It stopped booting directly and 1 month later I sent it on warranty to the store I bought it on. Supprisingly they fixed it replaced the hardrive . I didn't say I smashed it tho. I just wrote that it stopped working one day. It sounded a bit weird when booting up got it back for like 20 days ago . And it got some weird errors while booting but it always worked in the end. Now, twenty days later when i come home from school I got the windows couldn't boot error but I didn't worry because I had gotten it before but I just pressed start normally and it would boot with some weird noises but it worked anyways. Today it wouldn't boot when I pressed start windows normally and it didn't boot from any of the f8 options. The only thing that worked was start reparation but it would just go too the blue windows theme and then stop loading. Btw the other ones would go to the windows icon, stay there for a while and then just restart the computer with the same error appearing. Does anyone know the source of the problem or even a fix? I have windows 7 basic. Please my mother is not so smooth with computers and will probably think I broke it again and she will kill me and we are pretty poor
Is it ok to normally operate computer with some startup programs blocked?
Microsoft support had me turn this feature on while troubleshooting update problems. I can easily turn it back off, but I don't like all the mumbo jumbo that turns on when I start the computer anyways. Is this feature going to mess with anti virus etc software or is it OK to leave it like this and operate the computer without the full blast of startup programs? I guess another good question would be What programs are being blocked? It says to click on the bubble to show what is being blocked, but then there is nothing listed as blocked and the 'allowed' ones are all very integral seeming windows components.Thanks a bunch

How does a computer indicate a space between two binary numbers?
If I were to write " A B" , the binary representation would be, 01000001 01000010. My question is, what is between the two binaries that tells the computer that a " space" is present aka striking the space bar ?
Why doesn't the game run properly on my new computer?
So, here's the deal I bought a new computer just hours ago with following specifications AMD FX 4100 4x3,6 Ghz 8 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 4 GB DirectX 10 Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Primary monitor resolution > 1920x1080 Samsung SA350, 27 inch, LED I installed Red Alert 3, which is a 4 year old game, with following recommended specs AMD Athlon X2 3500 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz or better, 2GB of RAM or more, 10GB of free space, nVidia GeForce 6800 or better ATI X1900 or better.I configured every graphical aspect to ultra high high 1920x1080 resolution and the game still doesn't work properly and its fluency is absolutely horrible. What do I need to do configure in order to get the game work fluently? Same thing happened with Far Cry 2, whereas the fluency in this game was a bit better.Turned off Vsync, lowered the resolution to 1280x1028 still doesn't work properly.

I am having computer issues with Leapfrog Connect program.. Need help please?
We bought our son a new Leapfrog Leap Pad and he loves it and is helping him with spelling and numbers. There is a program Leapfrog Connect that is supposed to allow you to download more info to his device, or if you have a game you can buy an expansion pack to get more lands or worlds. The program Leapfrog connect is not working, I get constant error messages that it isn't installed properly or my adobe isn't upgraded which it is . I have contacted their customer service 3 times and they tell me to uninstall the program then reinstall. My computer will not allow me to uninstall Leapfrog connect. I have 2 questions. How do you uninstall a program that won't uninstall the normal way. I have tried both going through the control panel and also trying the uninstall in the drop down folders in the start menu. 2nd question.. has anyone else had these issues? if so how did you fix them. Our computer is about 3 years old and has windows Vista on it, but it does have all the requirements needed for this program. My son loves this new toy and it does help him with school thing, I would hate to have to return it and all the games.
Computer issue - startup then shutdown?
Well I have a slight issue where, my computer will start up, installing updates 100 % then shows on the blue loading screen, it will then say Fail to install updates, shutting down .It will then restart and do the same process again about 3 times? On the third time it will actually load the logon screen user account logon .
