Question: Why is correct seating at a computer important?

Because sitting is actually very bad for your back. As you slouch or sit funny, you're damaging yourself. You'll notice it more when you get older. :)

It is totally not lol... I have terrible posture and I am an extremely great typer... Maybe down the road it can give back problems or arthritus... but I dunno, im not that old where I have to worry about that...

If you sit a certain way, you put pressure on your back, your back will get f.u..cked up, same thing when youre studying, if your not sitting the right way, your body works extra hard because your back is in a bad position therefore actually hurting your effectiveness of studying

To lessen eye strain and more importantly, carpal tunnel syndrome. it can also lead to insanely bad posture.
