Your network has 1 IP address - they are not assigned to specific computers. Rather, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gives you one for your single Internet connection. When you visit a website, the website's servers automatically log your IP address so they know you visited it. You can get a new IP address through various options (I don't remember what they are) but you cannot have multiple at the same time. You can also block your real IP address and replace it with a fake one for visiting most websites using a proxy site. |
