Where to buy cheap computers to sell for profit?
I'm thinking about building some large shelves and a workbench in the basement of my dad's music workshop showroom in town and then I'd buy a bunch of used computers like really cheap, fix them up I know how to do that , label them as to what they are and give them a product code, and sell them on a website that I'll make for them and or sell them on craigslist, ebay, and the local paper.My question is, where is the best place to get used computers cheap enough so that I'll make money on them? I know of one guy who lives in Detroit, MI who buys Macs from Colleges and sells them online, after first fixing them up. However, I don't know whether the colleges around here will want to sell me any or not. I'm going to check into it. In the mean time, are there any other places worth trying?Also, is it somewhat " legal" to have one cd and install windows XP on many, many different computers. I know its not legal but the thing is everyone does it and XP is getting old. You'd think that Microsoft would not care.

I have a 2.0 Ghz 15.4 inch Macbook Pro with Intel Core Duo. I am currently running 1 Gb of RAM and its horrible. The most I can upgrade to is 2 gb. Where can I get some cheap ram? Cheap computer cooling?
I don't really care how the outside of my computer looks, and as such I am using a free case that is mid size and is a very ugly beige color. But the inside of my computer is really good and that is what matters 2 GTX 470s sli .I read that you can just open the side panned and blow a fan on it.
