I need help..my computer monitor wont turn on?
Please teach me a step-by-step process on reformatting a computer. Please?
I don't have experience in reformatting a computer. This will be my first time. so please, teach me how to reformat a computer. Mine is in Windows XP, I would just like to reformat it, because it's getting too slow. I will just re install Windows XP to bring back it's speed
Random specs/ dots flash on screen when im playing computer games!?!?!?!?
please help whenever i play games its fine for like the first 5 minutes but then random specs start flashing on the screen its been doing this for a while and i just ignored it but now its getting worse. how can i fix this its getting realy annoying i have a alienware area 51 extreme gamers edition and i have had it for about 4 years now but ever since i formatted it a couple years i keep getting problems with it.
DVD unable to access in my computer.?
I have overwritten data on a non re writable DVD to fill up the empty space left using Nero. Now when I want to open the DVD to get back my data and its very important to me. Please help me soon and suggest me how can I get back that data by any means. Thank You.
When i log on to my computer a message appears saying windows couldn't connect to notification service.?
Windows could not connect to the System Event NotificationService service. This problem prevents limited users from logging on to the system.Sometimes the aero is disabled and the theme is set to windows classic. One time i could not even log on to my profile because it said that the user profile service failed the logon. What is going on?? Please help
After changing a setting my computer will no allow me to even try to connect to the internet.?
Our internet was disconnecting for no reason, so I opened up the settings and went into security I think , It was set to 'open' so I changed it. Now when our computer shows our wireless connection is says " The setting saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network." I cant go back into the settings for our connection because after I did that it wont even let me select it. Please help

I'm getting a new computer because i was one of the many who downloaded the Sims demo that messed up everything. I've tried everything and even got professional help. Still there was no solution to my problem. So I'm considering buy another computer from amazon. It's a Dell GX280 Tower Computer 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB Hard Drive, DVD Optical Drive, Windows XP Professional . And I just want to make sure that the Sims would work on this computer, I would hate to buy it and find out the Sims cannot be played on it. Hello.My computer broke recently and I had my uncle repair it. He changed it from windows to vista, and it wiped iTunes off of it. I reinstalled it, as well as putting a few tones into it. When I plugged my iPhone into the computer and tried to sync the new tones into my phone, a message appeared and said that this computer wasn't authorized with this iPhone and I would have to erase all of my iPhone's data. I really do not want to do that. I tried authorizing my computer a few times, but it doesn't work. Do you know what I could do? I have looked around and I haven't gotten anything to work. My self built computer isn't working?
My computer was doing fine today, and when I did a hard shut off and turned it back on using the physical switch on the back it started up without me closing the circuit and shut off after about 5 seconds, and now it won't turn back on . What do I have to do to fix this? By the way I have an ASUS m5A88 m motherboard2 hours ago 4 days left to answer.Additional DetailsI didn't fry the board, everything turns on when I flip the switch, and btw I think it a system safety setting that's he problem
Why are the images on my computer too big?
I have a Windows 7 desktop.Today I left my computers unattended for a few hours and I got no idea what my brothers did to it cuz now everything is too big. In my toolbar, I can no longer see the time or date and my desktop icons farthest to the left are almos cut in half. Every time I open a page, It doesn't let me see the minimize,maximize or close buttons. I try changing the resolution, but it leaves a 3 in. black are on the left. I really need help. What could be some possible solutions? Thanks in advance.F11 Works for the internet, but not for the toolbar or other pages, and how exactly do you zoom out?Also tried fixing the resolution, but ends up looking crappy and leaves a black area on the left of my screen
